Moriah is a San Diego native who lived and adventured in NYC for 7 1/2 years. If she had a dollar for every time someone exclaimed, "WHY would you leave San Diego?!" she'd be a wealthy girl, but the New York adventure was worth every minute.

In San Diego, she has enjoyed performing such diverse roles as Rizzo in Grease, Peter in Peter Pan, Martha in 1776, and the white girl with soul in It Ain't Nothin' But the BluesShe spent a year in Las Vegas as Sophie in Mamma Miadid a stint in New Mexico as Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, and enjoyed a summer in Portland playing her favorite rock icon, Janis JoplinIn NYC she performed at Soul Night at Toshi's Living Room and produced three shows at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, including a solo show that was attended and lauded by Ed Asner.

Moriah grew up in a music-loving family and some of her main musical influences as a child were Janis, Jimi Hendrix, Etta James, Joni Mitchell, Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding. As she grew up she found herself inspired by strong female singers like Alanis Morrisette, Fiona Apple, Amy Winehouse and Pink.  When she was introduced to musical theatre she was fascinated by characters with grit, abandon, vulnerability, and sass and is drawn to roles like Sally Bowles, Elphaba, Rizzo, Eponine, Lucy, Eva Peron and Peter Pan.

In addition to sharing her talents on stage and at the mic, Moriah is making the most of this adventure called life:

She works at UCSD training standardized patients, using her acting talents and degree in Communications to help medical students better their interpersonal communication skills with patients. She directs youth

theatre and sings in a rock band and an Andrews Sisters tribute trio.

Moriah's voice can be heard on video games for PC, Sony Playstation and Sega.

She is co-owner of San Diego-based Lip Service--Singing Telegrams & Serenades

(yes, telegrams still exist!)

In her off time, Moriah enjoys outdoor time with her boyfriend: crushing obstacle race mud

runs, exercising in bouncy shoes, and sparring in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai & boxing.
